The Hotel Ambassador was a delight for my senior self. The 20's decor and period railway memorabilia added a touch of nostalgia to the atmosphere. The hotel's accessibility was excellent, with easy walking distance to the train station and other attractions. It was a joy to explore the hotel's general areas and soak in the warm ambiance.

If I were to suggest one improvement, it would be to have more assistance available for senior guests. Sometimes the children working there seemed a little overwhelmed, and it would be nice to have more support to ensure a better vacation experience for seniors.

Knoweldgeable and friendly staff. Excellent food. Well located for a variety of day trips - walking in the mountains, steam trains or just visiting major cities.

The room was clean, the beds comfortable (except the pillow, which was like marshmallow) and the restaurant very good.

The owners of this establishment need to decide whether they want to run a restaurant (good) or a hotel (dire). We stayed there on two non-consecutive nights. The first room they put us in would be called a dog box around here. It was small, hot and stuffy, but you couldn't open the window because of the noise from the street. The bathroom was 1.2 m x 1.2 m (is this legal?). The room itself appeared to have been furnished with rejects from the local tip. The flooring was cheap and nasty mock wood. There was no sound insulation from other rooms. The second room was higher up the building, larger and quieter except for the other guests. A decision needs to be made by the owners, and soon.

The bed was super comfy and the room was spotless. The hotel's location was mind-blowingly convenient, just a stone's throw away from the train station, restaurants, and cafes. The staff were jaw-droppingly wonderful, always there to help and incredibly polite. The hotel's central location made it easy to explore the city. The on-site car park was a huge plus, especially for us with our mountain bikes. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. a fantastic stay with excellent service and facilities.

The decor is a little tired and the bathroom was extremely small - that said the rate was very good, the breakfast was substantial and the hotel was very clean.

Friendly multilingual staff, helpful with local info. Comfortable, quiet room close to city center and train station. Wonderful meat-oriented supper, best breakfast buffet in multiple countries. Perfect location for mountain hikes. Will definitely return! 🏨

There was nothing I didliked about this hotel. It was extremely convenient to the central trail station as well as to the downtown shopping area. It has a really fine restaurant.

As someone with physical handicaps, I found the Hotel Ambassador to be an excellent choice. The staff went above and beyond to assist me, ensuring that my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. The hotel had all the necessary amenities and facilities to accommodate guests like myself, making it a hassle-free experience.

The staff was very warm, friendly and helpful. The hotel is located a short distance from the train station - a hub for many alpine rail adventures. The buffet breakfast provides a good variety of choices for both the vegetarian and carnivore. Our room was quiet, clean and comfortable. The decor reminded me of home.

Staff was very helpful, breakfasts and dinners were excellent and plentiful. I was there a couple of days early to meet a hiking tour that was to meet at that hotel. Convenience.
